Celebrating YoungArts 2025: Honoring Over 800 Talented Young Artists

YoungArts has revealed more than 800 of the most talented young artists from throughout the United States as recipients of the 2025 YoungArts Awards. Chosen from a competitive field of over 11,000 applicants, these outstanding individuals demonstrate excellence in 10 artistic disciplines, such as Classical Music, Dance, Design, Film, Jazz, Photography, Theater, Visual Arts, Voice, and Writing.

As a leading organization in the arts, YoungArts identifies and nurtures emerging talent, offering resources and opportunities that help artists thrive in their creative journeys. The annual competition is open to young artists aged 15–18 or in grades 10–12, providing a transformative platform for creative growth and recognition.

Benefits of a YoungArts Award

YoungArts winners gain access to an array of career-advancing opportunities, such as:

  • Creative and professional development programs

  • Financial awards and microgrants

  • Showcase and performance opportunities at prestigious cultural venues

  • All-expenses-paid intensive workshops led by renowned mentors

Additionally, winners join YoungArts Post, an exclusive online platform that fosters networking, collaboration, and access to ongoing resources. These benefits extend far beyond the awards, offering a lifetime of support and connection within the arts community.

Celebrating Local Excellence in Visual Arts

In the Visual Arts category, this year’s winners include two exceptional students from Irvine, California: one from University High School and another from Crean Lutheran High School. Their success highlights the importance of nurturing creative talent at the local level and serves as an inspiration to aspiring young artists nationwide.
