New Camp for the week of July 14 to July 18 - Create Unique Stickers and Comics of Your Favorite Characters Camp

Join us for an exciting week filled with creativity and imagination at our unique camp dedicated to the art of sticker and comic creation! From July 14 to July 18, participants will have the opportunity to dive into the world of design by creating their very own one-of-a-kind stickers and comic/manga pages that feature beloved characters from a variety of popular shows and games. Whether you are a fan of the suspenseful and thrilling Squid Game, the adventurous universe of Pokemon, the interactive world of Roblox, the charming character Labubu, or the action-packed saga of Demon Slayer, this camp is designed for you!

Throughout the week, campers will select their favorite characters and engage in the creative process of designing both stickers and manga pages that showcase these characters in unique and imaginative ways. This hands-on experience will not only allow participants to express their personal tastes but also to explore various artistic styles and techniques that can bring their characters to life. Each camper will have the chance to brainstorm ideas, sketch concepts, and refine their designs, ensuring that their final products are truly one-of-a-kind.

In addition to sticker design, campers will learn to harness the power of Procreate on the iPad, a leading digital illustration application that empowers artists to create stunning visuals. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants will become familiar with the Procreate interface and tools, allowing them to create, edit, and print their stickers with ease. They will also illustrate their very own comic story, crafting narratives that complement their character designs, thereby merging storytelling with visual art.

• Creative thinking through unique character design: Campers will explore the fundamentals of character design, focusing on what makes a character memorable and appealing. They will learn to think outside the box and develop original concepts that reflect their individual styles.

• Creative expression through application of personal interests to art: By integrating their favorite characters and themes into their projects, campers will find joy in expressing themselves artistically, making the experience both personal and fulfilling.

• Visual brainstorming through sketching and layout planning: Participants will practice essential skills in brainstorming and sketching, developing layouts that effectively communicate their ideas and enhance their storytelling abilities.

• Creative thinking through unique everyday design topics: The camp will cover a range of design topics that encourage campers to think creatively about everyday objects and themes, fostering a mindset that appreciates design in all forms.

• Familiarity practicing Procreate interface and tools: Campers will gain hands-on experience with Procreate, learning how to utilize its various features to enhance their artwork, from brushes and layers to color palettes and more.

By the end of this enriching week, campers will walk away with not only a collection of their own stickers and comic pages but also newfound skills and confidence in their artistic abilities.
