Clay Creations: Ceramics for Young Artists (K–2nd)

Perfect for our youngest creators, this class introduces children to the fundamentals of ceramic art through hands-on exploration and guided projects. Students develop fine motor skills while learning basic techniques and expressing their imagination through clay.

What students will explore:

• Tactile play and creative experimentation with clay

• Basic handbuilding techniques

• Functional and decorative art projects

• Confidence, creativity, and joy in art-making

Creative Ceramics: Art and Design (3rd–6th | Ages 8–12)

Designed for curious and creative young artists, this class balances artistic freedom with technical skill-building. Students dive deeper into handbuilding and glazing while learning to create more detailed and expressive ceramic works.

• Handbuilding and glazing techniques

• Texture, shape, and color exploration

• Functional and sculptural ceramic projects

Mastering Ceramics: Wheel Throwing & Handbuilding (7th–Adults)

This comprehensive class is ideal for teens and adults ready to expand their skills or begin their ceramics journey. Students explore both wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques while creating functional and decorative pottery.

What students will create and learn:

• Pottery wheel fundamentals

• Pinch pots, slab construction, and food sculptures

• Mugs, vases, and tea sets

• Glazing and firing processes

• Technical skill development and creative expression
