Summer is almost here, and that means it is time for imagination, inspiration, and artistic growth at Summer Art and Design Camp 2026. From June 8 through August 14, young artists in grades 1 through 8 are invited to experience a summer filled with vibrant projects, hands on learning, and creative exploration.
What Makes This Summer Special
This year’s program focuses on transforming imagination into real artistic skills. Whether your child loves painting, digital design, storytelling, or mixed media, there is something exciting waiting for them. Students explore fine art, digital art, design concepts, and hands on craftsmanship in a supportive and encouraging studio environment.
Camp Schedule
Mondays through Fridays
9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Location: Irvine, California
Weekly Art Adventures
Each week features a unique theme designed to inspire creativity while building strong foundational skills.
Pokémon Trainers Workshop
Campers create 3D paper crafts, clay sculptures, wearable art, and illustrated terrarium worlds inspired by Pokémon. This week blends imagination with hands on design.
Anime and Comic Creations
Students develop original characters, storyboard their own comics, practice brush inking techniques, and produce dynamic illustrations full of personality and movement.
Blindbox Design Lab
A fusion of digital sculpting and hands on crafting where campers design custom characters, masks, patches, and miniature collectible worlds.
Ceramics Adventure
Young artists explore clay techniques including pinch, coil, and wheel throwing while creating functional and decorative ceramic pieces.
Creative Storybook Art
Campers bring stories to life through multi panel illustrations, character design, and expressive painting techniques.
Every themed week is carefully structured to balance skill development with creative freedom. Students not only learn techniques, but also gain confidence in expressing their own ideas.
