This class offers a comprehensive introduction to the world of ceramics for students ranging from middle school through adult. Focusing on both wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques, this course will guide participants through creating functional and decorative pottery. Students will learn essential skills, including throwing on the pottery wheel, making pinch pots, building with slabs, and crafting intricate food sculptures. They will also have the opportunity to design and create their own mugs, flower vases, and tea sets. The course emphasizes developing both technical proficiency and creative expression while fostering an understanding of glazing and firing processes.

이 수업은 중학생부터 성인까지를 대상으로 하는 도예 종합 기초 과정으로, 물레 성형과 손성형 기법을 함께 배우며 도예의 전반적인 과정을 경험합니다. 학생들은 물레를 사용한 성형, 핀치 기법, 판 성형 등 다양한 기초 기술을 익히고, 이를 바탕으로 실용적이면서도 장식적인 도자 작품을 제작합니다. 머그컵, 꽃병, 티 세트 등 자신만의 생활 도자를 직접 디자인하고 완성하며, 음식 조형과 같은 섬세한 표현에도 도전합니다. 수업 전반에 걸쳐 유약과 소성 과정을 이해하고, 기술적인 완성도와 창의적인 표현을 함께 발전시키는 데 중점을 둡니다.
